California Lobby Day 2026

Join us on Wednesday, May 6 to take action for reproductive freedom!

California must remain a reproductive freedom state. That's why our members are coming together to defend access to abortion for everybody by speaking with our state lawmakers in Sacramento! We'll provide all the training you need to meet with legislators to urge them to prioritize protecting reproductive freedom in 2026.

When you RSVP, we will send you an email with information about how to join the event. The information will also be available on this page. This invitation is non-transferable. For safety, please do not share the location information with others. If you would like to invite friends, they must RSVP themselves.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and transportation is available. We are assisting members who want to come from across California by coordinating carpools and providing flights. Please read the information below closely. More event information will be provided after signing up.

Members who register by April 10, and whose travel requires airfare, will have their airfare fully booked and paid for by the organization. Members who register between April 11 and April 23, and whose travel requires airfare, are responsible for booking their airfare, but are eligible to receive up to $250.00 of their airfare reimbursed by the organization. To be eligible for reimbursement, members who register during this period should book a flight that departs by 7:30 am and allows them to arrive at the State Capitol for a training at 9:45 am. Members who register between April 24 and April 26 are responsible for covering the cost of their airfare. 

All members traveling by airfare will receive fully covered Uber transportation by the organization, to and from the airport to their house, and to and from the airport to the training location in Sacramento.

Members who are carpooling or driving to attend may register by April 26th. Members who register by April 23, and whose travel requires driving, and who drive from a distance of 25 miles or more, are eligible for mileage reimbursement according to the federal IRS rate of 72.5 cents per mile.
