MSFC Turnaway Play

 

Medical Students for Choice at Penn is collaborating with students across Penn (undergrad, graduate, and professional) to put on The Turnaway Play—a series of powerful vignettes based on the real stories of people seeking abortion care. 
 

Based on the groundbreaking Turnaway Study, The Turnaway Play features real-life stories of women who were denied abortions across the United States.  Through humor, honesty, and candid stories from the study participants, this play aims to reduce stigma, normalize, humanize, and open a dialogue that affects over half of the population.
