Testimony as Resistance: The Fight for Reproductive Freedom

Storytelling has been a sacred work. Especially in faith-based communities, testimonies that carry truth and power have shaped our work in reproductive freedom spaces across generations.
This Black History Month, we’re excited to hear from Director of Michigan Campaigns, Shanay Whittaker and Elder Leslie Matthews from Michigan United on how they integrate their values with the organizing work they do for reproductive freedom.
All are welcome at this storytelling event. We hope that this conversation offers meaningful insight into building understanding and connection within diverse communities.
When you RSVP, we will send you an email with information about how to join the event. The information will also be available on this page. This invitation is non-transferable. For safety, please do not share the location information or Zoom link with others. If you would like to invite friends, they must RSVP themselves. Your name on Zoom must match the name you provided on this registration.
