Voting Rights and the Fight for Freedom

Join Reproductive Freedom for All and Fulton County Commissioner Mo Ivory on Wednesday February 18 at 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT to take action for reproductive freedom and democracy!

In the coming months, SCOTUS is poised to rule on the Louisiana v. Callais case, a lawsuit challenging Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which helps protect the voting power of historically marginalized communities from racial gerrymandering.

A ruling in this case that guts or significantly rolls back Section 2 could severely curtail black voting power, while simultaneously aiding Trump's authoritarian efforts across the country to steal the election and further erode democracy.

Voting rights and reproductive freedom are essential to achieving a robust, functioning democracy where people’s fundamental rights and bodily autonomy are protected.

This Black History Month, Reproductive Freedom for All is partnering with Fulton County Commissioner Mo Ivory to host an educational event on what this case means for our democracy, elections, and rights. They will speak to how efforts to undermine fair representation are already playing out in real time and what is at stake in the upcoming midterm elections if the Trump administration succeeds further undermining the right to vote.

After you RSVP, we will send you an email with information about how to join the event. The information will also be available on this page. This invitation is non-transferable. For safety, please do not share the location information or Zoom link with others. If you would like to invite friends, they must RSVP themselves. Your name on Zoom must match the name you provided on this registration.
