Vote YES on the Resolution Affirming Reproductive Rights as Human Rights

I’m writing as a Fulton County resident deeply concerned about the health and safety of women in our community. The proposals before you could literally save lives, and I urge you to support them.

Vote YES on the Resolution Affirming Reproductive Rights as Human Rights. Since the six-week abortion ban, women in Georgia have faced delayed care, dangerous complications, and doctors afraid to act. Supporting this resolution shows that Fulton County refuses to look the other way.

Support the creation of the Fulton County Women’s Commission. Women here face high maternal mortality, barriers to healthcare, economic inequities, violence, and gaps in mental health care. A Commission would coordinate expert and lived-experience voices to tackle these urgent issues.

Vote YES on the Healthy Women, Healthy Families Grant Program.
Local nonprofits are doing life-saving work every day—providing prenatal care, cancer screenings, mental health support, and safety resources. A $1 million investment would let them reach more women and save more lives immediately.

Your YES votes are a vote for women’s health, safety, and autonomy. Fulton County women are counting on your leadership to act with urgency and courage.

Thank you for your service and for protecting our community.

Why is this important?
